The world sometimes with its etiquettes and theoretical education turns us into timid, indifferent, one-dimensional people who have forgotten the rural spirit. It’s where we come from. Everyone has it in them but how many of them know?

It is the fire that burns inside me like the full-rounded flame from that mud-scented candle, something turning into a slither, but eventually regaining its form.

I am a woman, a Muslim, an Indian and I am married. All of them are a part of my identity but none can singly tell you who I am. I am also split between Rajasthan, Dubai and London. You can know more by stalking my work:

I created the 8-Day Academy, an initiative that educates villages and communities in just eight days. I curate a rural TEDx event in India called TEDxShekhavati (in Rajasthan).
